UX Case Studies
Vancouver Coastal Health usability test
May 2024 — With a group of three other students in BCIT’s UX Strategy 1 course, I examined the usability of the Vancouver Coastal Heath website by conducting usability testing. This is our report, detailing our process and findings. Through this project I learned what the process is for user testing and how important it is to UX design.
PNW X-RAY INC. WEBSITE
May 2024 — I completed this case study as an assignment for my UX Strategy course at BCIT. I chose the Pacific Northwest X-Ray Inc. website to do a case study on because I noticed there were lots of improvements that could be made, and x-ray equipment sales is not a subject that I know much about, so I thought it would be a good challenge.
Pacific Northwest X-ray Inc. is a medical supply company that specializes in x-ray equipment, accessories and supplies. Currently, according to their website, they only do email and phone sales, and the website acts as a catalogue.
I wanted to use this process to fix some problems that the users of this website might encounter, gain a better understanding of the UX process, and learn more about a new industry in the process.
